Regular Kairosoft gamer here, I've played a lot and loved mall story and sushi spinner to give you an idea of the ones I like. I really wanted to like this one because horses, but no, it's not for me. One race a month, you can really only breed a horse once a year, it's a slow game and what there is to it (improving horses) just wasn't entertaining enough for me. Fine game, but if you like faster games with more thinking this isn't for you either.

I played a couples Kairosoft games, that one is one of the best so far. A snes touch. Simple, repetitive... but addictive. Bought Boxing Gym Story right after and it doesn't live up to Pocket Stables. The game would be perfect if we could race 2 horses on 2 different categories simultaneously... and if we had the option to back up to the main menu once our game loaded. Have to close the app and open back everytime. Do this for me Kairosoft, and I'll give you 5 star.

love your games love this game, the buildings not being able to at least turn sideways got in the way massively. if you play this, the dirt race track only goes portrait, plan accordingly! would really love to see a number 2 with better in game mechanics and building options like so many of your other games!
